I'm not sure why Humming Birds keep on turning up in my images, but they do. (See Post of 4th April).   Luckily the construction is always different.  In addition to the distinctive beak, this one has wings and tail-feathers.

In the second image we have the stalk of a flower coloured by the light reflected by the flower.  This theme has also turned up many times in my images.  I like it; it makes the stalk quite definitely part of the flower.

I'm not sure why I like this image so much; it doesn't seem to represent anything, and it's very unbalanced in terms of both position and motion. Perhaps that's why I find it attractive!
